  1. hopefully easley at 1st and conine still in the of. 486513[/snapback] Well I dont know if anyone has forgotten, but cordero is coming back in a week or so, so that pretty much solves our problem in the outfield
  2. He's been more relaxed the past 2-3 appearances. one of his last appearances he pitched two innings but he walked two of these hitters in the 9th, but the point is that if he remains pitching scoreless innings, he'll resurrect into the Ugueth Urbina of last year when Urbina had an 0-4 record with a 5.04 ERA with the Rangers and had a great year with the Marlins.
  3. You know today i went to UM and I bought me an issue of Sports Weekly, before it was Baseball weekly. The point is that this is what they say: "The Marlins realized what the White Sox found out the past two years: Billy Koch can no longer pitch. They still need another reliever and a left fielder. They also need a Dontrelle Willis resurgence. Recommendation: Go get [Danny] Bautista or [Matt] Stairs, and one of the Blue Jays' relievers as well." Well to be quite honest getting Bautista is something we can use because he has shown his power at the plate, and he was an ex-marlin from 2000-2001, but i think acquiring ex-marlins mean that they will suck no matter what, take CJ for example. But I think it would be a great idea to get a Blue Jay reliever. I wouldnt get Matt Stairs if they gave him to me for free, but i guess it could help the team. I also heard on the radio about the Nomar talks, but I find that very doubtful but if it ever happens they can always take penny and leave pavano here.
  4. Burrell groundsout to the pitcher, runner on second with 2 outs
  5. runner on first and thome has just struck out check swinging
  6. runner on first, one out and Cairo up to the plate
  7. Yeah, I'm just hearing it on ESPNEWS, well it was a tragic loss for baseball and most likely for Barry Bonds, and probably wont play for about a week the most.
  8. Cool Wallpaper, good for Dontrelle fans everywhere
  9. Acquiring White-for-Castro might be good for the team, so what if Castro leaves, i know he hits for power and will help us next year, but you have to look on the bright side, there's already a catcher in the minors who's suppose to be one of the best in the minors, so just in case Pudge goes to another team, next year @ least we have another catcher to help us along the way. If White is acquired, there is a good chance that Cabrera is not going back to the minors since he's already proven in the last 10 games that he deserves to stay in the majors, and maybe Banks will go back to the minors. I know, what's the point in getting Rondell White?, but if the Marlins want to make the playoffs @ least, White is a guy we can depend on, he hits with power and he's one of the best players on the padres squad, just like in '97 when we acquired Daulton and Counsell, and Counsell scored the game winning run in Game 7. Another good trade scenario is the issue of Scott Sullivan, and just so people know we're in good hands trying to get him, and he's good for a 7th inning man, just in case the pitchers last less than 7 innings of work. As long, as I wish they can trade Almanza, Nunez, or Neal those three will most likely be involved in that trade, or maybe even Robert Stratton the AAA guy, whose hitting .232 with 30 HR, and 75 RBI, like I know he's not going to start if he's promoted, so just trade him, we wouldnt regret it.
