I'm curious as to if the majority of the Marlin community are satisfied.

The Braves haven't "choked" in their entire playoff run. There is a reason other teams make the playoffs. A lot of the teams the Braves have faced were fighting in September for a spot while much of the time the Braves were just cruising along. They just haven't been able to get in the groove. yeah a 'groove'. Right, that is their problem...didnt they have one of the best offenses in the game last season? Didnt they have one of the best records in baseball? Didnt they have a ridiculous closer in Smoltz and a starting staff that was very good too? When will they find this 'groove'?!!! YOu find a "groove" when you're competing for something. The Braves didn't do well in September at all compared to the rest of their season. Smoltz was hurt in the playoffs, which was big, too.

You're just making assumptions based on little substance. And remind me again what you are doing? You said the Marlins wouldn't have won the World Series if they didn't make that trade. You can't really assume that. If you can, then I will assume the Marlins lost 3 World Series' by trading ADRIAN.

Have people forgotten the fact that Choi is just as good of a defender as Lee? I know Lee is great, but so is Choi!

Listen to Rotoworld, guys. And you got a PTBNL! Marlins acquired first baseman Hee Seop Choi and a player to be named from the Cubs for first baseman Derrek Lee. Regardless of who the PTBN is, the Marlins did very well here. Choi will probably at least as good of a hitter as Lee by 2005 and probably won't be much worse next year. By picking up the first baseman in return for Lee, it appears clear that either Juan Encarnaction or Mike Lowell will be gone from Florida next season. Non-tendering Encarnacion and putting Miguel Cabrera in right field would seem to be the right move.

Lee is great but Choi has the potential to be as good as Choi. He can get on-base! Yeah, right. Just like Gary Matthews Jr. is better than Juan Encarnacion. .350 OBP with just a .218 BA... bring the BA up and the OBP will follow. At least it isn't DENNY BAUTISTA AND DON LEVINSKI for f***ing Conine
