These guys told you to knock it off yesterday on the 8/21 Game Thread, but you obviously have no respect for this board either. I came here to post about baseball, not deal with trolls like you. You don't deserve an answer to your post which is full of lies and inaccuracies as all of your posts are. But I'll answer you this time anyway. First of all I played BASEBALL in high school and in college for a year. Following that, I played BASEBALL in various neighborhood leagues, not PRO LEAGUES, of course, but leagues of guys who would get together to play ball and have FUN. I do not pretend to have been a major league ball player, but I can tell you this, child, I have FORGOTTEN more about the game of baseball than you know. Now tell me that we have played better than the Stros. you do realize that without this little funk that weve been in lately, we were 5-8 games over the entire year. while the astros have been under 500 the entire year. and stop bringing up since the damn break. it really doesnt matter sicne the break, we play an entire year. The Marlins were better the fist half. The Astros have been better the second half. Put those together and it evens out. Whats so hard about that? how about a larger sample size? Larger sample size??? I just covered the whole season moron! the marlins were much better for a larger sample size and have struggled AS OF LATE. wtf is so complicated about that?

And the team didn't even face Lincecum...complain about the schedule all you want, but the same schedule you're complaining about right now, was the same one the Mets had to deal with in the 1st half. At the end of the day (err...year) each team plays every team, at least, twice, in their own league. If you're gonna complain about the schedule, might as well not believe. To be the best...you also have to beat the best...and the worst. The Mets are only doing what they're supposed to do;...what the Marlins did not do in SF. ok, but do the marlins play the nationals and pirates 8 times in a row in the middle of a race deep into august? its a little different. they both play the same teams but when you play them consecutively and in august you can only expect them to go ahead a bit more.

ricky, good for fantasy, k's and low walks. just look for those stats for pitchers (among some other minor stats) and youll be ok.
