  1. You know, Mike Jacobs is actually out OPS-ing Cantu. .801 v.s. .789. Personally I'm rooting for Gaby/McDallas corner IFers next year. Improved defense on both spots = woo Cantu has 17 errors and Dallas has 18(I know), but I would like to see this Opening Day: Ramirez SS Maybin CF Cantu 3B McPherson LF Sanchez 1B Ross CF Pudge C Coghlan 2B Nolasco P
  2. I wear high socks, because I think wearing your pants low feels like sweatpants, and we live in FL. I never liked them, I buy the Unhemmed now.
  3. Which would you keep?
  4. Ha,I didn't know fantasy ran with the MLB season
  5. Carroll is certainly a candidate for a backup OF job next year, so it makes sense the Marlins wanted to look at him for this last month. The only question in my mind is if he'd be healthy to be fully evaluated....I guess he is. I was told that he rehabbed in Jupiter Friday night and made 2 outstanding plays defensively, but his bat struggled. Yeah, he hit just .169 in 71 at-bats in Jupiter. Is there an echo in here?
  6. I thought since you guys are fellow Marlins fans, you'd help me more than the average guy. But I have no clue what fantasy baseball is(heard of it). But can some help me get started?
  7. He was already on the 40 man roster which plays a hell of a lot more into it then people seem to realize. You just can't call up whoever you want. Majority of players people want up aren't on the 40, and would require movement on our 40 man roster to call them up, a.k.a. we risk losing players. I understand that but don't you think Jai Miller(Whom I have always defended) has poven himself more than Carroll. Miller AVG:.267 HR:19 RBI:56 SB:19 yea but hes not on the 40 man roster its complicated you cnat just cal up whoever you want like in videogame games you have to be on the 40 man I have been looking at Jai on the Marlins website and it shows he is on the 40. o then hes prob up later when alb season is over Hope He comes up

  10. I don't understand why they would pass up other prospects for Carroll. He just hasn't played enough to be brought up, in my opinion. In his 15 rehab starts he has gone 12 for 71 with a batting average of .169 and 2 HR with 9 RBIs. Miller I was hoping for since he is 1-1 & has a 2.33 ERA in 6 games with 17 strikeouts as both starter and reliever in the minors. I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm trashing this guy(I probably am), I do have a little faith in him he just dosen't seem to have it compared to his 18 pre-injury games: 28 for 67 with a .418 and 9 HR with 23 RBIs. I just don't think they should wasted a roster spot on him when we still have a playoff chance.
  11. interesting... the isotopes have just released their lineups and Paul Hoover is playing left field!!!! with Jason Wood and Tagg Bozeid in the corners. Andino is also not in the line up... Mcphereson, Andino, and Gall being called up??? I dont see why not, I just wish we could bring Gaby up.
