So assuming they’re keeping Sandy (big assumption) they’ll be starting 2027 with just 3 SP. Thats assuming max is healthy. I’m sure they’ll completely ignore pitching depth once again if sign some loser garbage bin FA to pretend like they’re trying

Clayton back for 2027. Expected as much

I concur

Will they pick up Sandy’s option 🤔

Too old for Bendix and too $ but i agree

Mish said they expect to make significant FA moves this off season. What are some good targets?

Amazing! Got my copy

Welp season could have been better and could have been worse

There’s my lad!!! 😆

The rotation is young and untested and all will be on innings limits and guys get hurt especially pitchers. They should sign like shota or another significant SP instead of just reclamation project they’ll Dfa after -.9 WAR.

They had him in a great role as pinch runner and occasional starter against lefties - they should keep him there. Hes clearly not an every day guy but I guess they wanted to try it since this season was just extended spring training anyway

Eury in lmao. Why can’t this team just like play good defense and have real SP. stop this . The roster is so poorly put together and they’ve traded their good players they resort to this nonsense

Starting Ruiz every day been another brilliant move

another error.

Bendix and co should truly be ashamed of the bullpen they’re trotting out there every night. They’re such a poor man’s rays it’s truly something and Bendix keeps giving them our good players (Mesa jr, hicks) for free

Another day another runner thrown out on the bases. Even sielaff has had enough

Lmao bert is such a bad fielder

Another defensive gem there 😝

Oof

I hear you brother. The Luzardo trade kills me

See the fire Bendix thread

This team makes the playoffs last year and this year if they kept Luzardo alone. He alone shifts the equation 4-5 Wins. Impossible task to root for

BA doesn’t like the Marlins farm very much lol

A novel idea would be not trading their cy young contender (Luzardo) for scraps and not signing guys like paddack who provide negative value and actually investing in a clear problem before the season began, SP depth. But alas

Great twitter thread showing every Bendix trade and they’ve cumulatively made the team worse although saved Bruce a lot of money https://x.com/exiled_axe/status/2100641845956972843?s=46
