The Twitter dorks use this stuff to support their arguments that these players are good based on whatever metric suits their narrative. The thing data and metrics are about measuring and trying to predict future success which I see a ton of value in. I get the EV argument but they also do it in a vacuum (like what is it a groundball etc). They’re Missing the whole point. What ultimately matters is runs bitches which they ignore and just cry babip.
