There’s very little chance and doing nothing but getting rid of hicks at the deadline If there’s baseball in 27, Sherman and Bendix will need to add serious pieces to be competitive.

August 19Aug 19 Author This series is the proverbial final nail. It's unfortunate, because we didn't really get dominated. But the Phillies are playing a step ahead of us right now. Part of it is timing. They are hot at the right time. But there is still a gap between these two teams. A gap that I think we will close within a season. I do think they are trending down while we are trending up. We have not passed them.... yet.And for the record, I do not believe that 2027 is doomed to the CBA. I do think it will be played, but it might be 150 games or so instead of 162.

I want to see the attendance finish the year up from last year (attendance is up very slightly from last year through 63 home games).
