Silver, Do you have any pictures of the jersey in use in 2005?

I just checked the Getty through 2005 and never saw them. If you saw it on a 2005 card, it was probably a picture from 04 unless the set was released late in 05. If anyone can find out for sure, let me know or else its going to drive me crazy.

AH! Thats my fault i didnt proof read. Let me rephrase something. The author of the guide states they do not show up in 2008 or 2009 news photo searches, he prefaces this by saying they are still on the official catalog as uniforms that the Marlins could wear. Eariler in the guide he states that through information he received directly from Majestic, the Marlins team ordered Cool-Base version of this jersey in 2009. I highly doubt we will see it again since the focus is on the F logo. So thats my fault for not proofreading what i type. What were some of the overall thoughts on this jersey from a fan standpoint?

I just purchased the Marlins Alternate Pinstripe, the one with the shoulder logo on the front left chest. Can anyone remember the last time these were used. There have been two manufactures of these jersey, from 2003 to 2005, Russell Authentic made the jersey until Majestic took over in 2005. Were these jersey used anytime between 2005 untill now. I dont recall seeing them in 2009 and according to the MLB game worn jerseys guide, the last time these were photographed in use was 2007, even though they are still available to wear by the team, once again according to the guide. I have also heard they have been used since the MLB switched to Majestic jersey. I know to some its not a big deal, but i would like to be historically accurate and would like to know if the Marlins even wore this Majestic Jersey. Thanks

Hey guys, I posted some during the season but let me give you alittle preface, I played/watched baseball growing up, probably untill i was about 11. Always was a Marlins fan, but my main sport of hockey took over and baseball faded out untill last year. I got tired of not having anything to watch during the summer so I fired back on the tv and watched some baseball at the age of 23. The first two teams i were drawn to were the Marlins and the Blue Jays. The logic behind it was the Marlins were my team from back in the day, loved the colors. The Blue jays, i just liked the colors. Started listening to Marlins games as much as i could and was instantly rehooked to them so the Jays lost out. I have been dying for the season to start, eagerly looking forward to spending the 200 something dollars so i can actually watch more games then listen to them. Needless to say, I was absolutely thrilled to hear the Marlins were playing an exhibition against the Grasshoppers. What can i expect from this game. If its anything like hockey, i will be lucky to see hardly any of the starting lineup. I will be attending either way and cant wait to see the team in person. What can I expect from this game, as it will likely be the only time i will get to see the Marlins play in person? I hope to one day visit the Marlins in their new home. While i have your attention, im debating between buying the MLB package on Time Warner Cable or getting the Mlb package that lets you watch the games online. I have an Iphone and lived by the MLB At bat app. What would be the best deal for me and what are the advantages for each?

I wish it didnt have the New Era logo on the the front left. I bought a Teal New Era 5950 Diamond Collection from Popmoonz or something like that on ebay in a 7 1/8. It fits to big for a 7 1/8 and the marlin logo is severly off center.
