I actually hope he can snag a roster spot somewhere....it's always a shame when a pitchers with his kind of stuff goes down with serious injuries. And if he shows something of high caliber pitches then a team should take a chance on him.

Dont care how good you are, you cant enter the season that late and be called an all star. Gotta either have proof that you really are that good from previous seasons or play the same general amount of games as your competition. While I don't think he's an all-star at this point, I will point out that D-Train made his debut toward mid-May of 2003 and was named to the All-Star team so its not without precedent. I believe he was 9-1 with an era around 2 tho
