  1. This is crazy, a collective whimper from all marlins fans....this is what really did it. the hole gets deeper and we continue to fail at home. While a lot of us seem to agree that we should sell high on Ross and get some prospects, apparently the team feels Maybin isnt ready for next year. The reports say they are talking about Ross being the starting CF next year, i mean think about it. Maybin, Morrison, Stanton in the outfield? Three rookies? But the underachieving Ross and H2R have really bothered me this year....all of the sudden again we cant pitch, hit, or play D. It seems like every time i give up on this team, they reel you back it....every series....but this one was really that proverbial (and very cliche and cheesey) nail in the coffin....
  2. The team has started talking about signing Ross one year longer. apparently Beinfest thinks Maybin still doesnt have what it takes. I dont know how i feel, its been rough with that trade. It feels like Miller and Maybin seem to make a step foward, then six back. Both have amazing upside...Anyone else think Miller should be converted to a power reliever? Power fastball that can hit 98, power breaking slurve like pitch....why not have him close? Ceda throwing 99 and miller throwing 97 from each side of the mound? sounds good to me...i think West is our lefty starter for now, and in 2012 Chad James makes the elite lefty push.
