  1. I'll second that one. Congrats, Marlins fans!
  2. Cub fans do this all the time. Every one I've talked to thinks they were owed this series because they have better attendance, they have been around longer than the Marlins, and their fans were "dedicated" enough to travel to Atlanta and Florida. One told me that there is no way Pro Player would have sold out if it wasn't for them. They say the same things about the White Sox and their fans. This faction of Cub fans is the most self-righteous bunch of fans I've ever come across (and that's including Yankee and Red Sox fans). I don't need to tell you not to worry about these MLB forum idiots. Good luck in the World Series ... White Sox fans are pulling for you!
  3. NO NO NO. Dont tell them to go to Wrigley, because they will probably just run on the field and attack you 1st base coach. Jeez. You have no idea what you are asking. White Sox fans are just criminal thugs. As a Cub fan in Florida, the Cubbie-Kool-Aid-drinking national media must not have told you that the losers who rushed the field in April were all Flubs fans who, prior to the Sox-Royals night game, spent the day getting drunk at Wrigley.
  4. -Earlier this year, when our record wasn't so great, they kept saying that we should just go ahead and give Lowell to them, because then he would be able to play for a playoff contender. The Chicago media acted like the "pathetic" Florida Marlins owed it to the long-suffering Cubs, Cub fans and Lowell himself to trade him to "a contender." None of them understood why he wasn't being traded ... isn't everyone, deep down, a Cubs fan? Doesn't everyone want to see the Cubs win?
  5. When you guys beat the Giants the other day, more than one Flubs fan I know said, "All the pieces are falling into place!" Let alone that the Marlins STILL had a better record than the Flubs in the regular season, and that it only took the Marlins four games to beat the Giants, a better team, IMO, than the Braves (who decided to play corpseball, but still managed to take the Flubs five). Ugh ... give 'em hell, Fish fans, give 'em hell.
  6. Another Sox fan here wishing Fish fans the best in beating the Flubs. That ol' Marlin hat is going to get some use this week!
