  1. There will be plenty of cub fans who have tix to the two night games, and go to Jeer the fish to make it a twin-park DHer. I did two of those last year, and incedently one of those was the infamous umpire attacking incedent by Mr. Ligue. Wrigley field will be quite rowdy after the fish have taken over the WC lead and the scrubs are losing to the Buccos. Certainly there will be some Sox fans there, but they have less rooting interest in the game than do the Cubs fans, with the wild card and all. 551150[/snapback] Oh No. This is plenty of rooting interest for us Sox fans. We don't want the Cubs making the playoffs again and then having to watch the cub bandwagon jumpers embarrass our city again. Please Marlins, knock the Cubs down in the wildcard race.
  2. I'm here from whitesoxinteractive to back up everything Hanger has been saying. We will be pulling for the Marlins. I' am planning to go to Monday's game to root for the home team Marlins.
  3. Marlin Fans, I wish you couldve seen us at a bar, on the SOuth side of Chicago. WE cheered, we yelled the PLACE WAS BANANAS LAST NITE, and when the FISH Finally got the last out, THAT PLACE WAS SOOOOOOOOO LOUD...... WE Actually Spilled out onto Western Ave in front of the place, Burned a Cubs flag, traffic was honking, every car yelling out GO MARLINS. it was excellent Hey Hanger18... Were one of those lighters yours that was helping burn my Cubs flag with the X through it. McNalley's rocked I wish all of the marlins fans could have been there. I'm still wearing my marlins jersey and my sox hat even though they reek of beer and smoke. Thanks to the Marlins for making this up coming winter bearable. Don't know what I would have done if I had to listen to the a** clowns chirpin all winter. GO FISH

Eddie Munster, I mean Jay Moronotti is hands down the worst columnist in the city. The fact that he is on an ESPN show has made me lose a little respect for that channel. He also plays both sides of the coin very well. If the Marlins pull this out he'll write an article telling us about how he knew the Marlins could win.

3 more wins and I'll be one happy southsider. This Marlins team is fun to watch. I love watching Pierre and Castillo run. And I love walking into a bar full of flub fans wearing my newly aguired Marlins jersey and watching all of their jaws drop in shock. Even better, walking out after the Marlins pull off the victory.
  6. I heard the bandwagon was filling up fast so I didn't want to miss it!! GO MARLINS!!! How big is this bandwagon anyway? Go Fish.
  7. Miller and Paul Bako suck. Speed kills. If they can manufacture runs you'll be in good shape. The Scrubs didn't exactly kill the ball and they won. If it wasn't for Kerry Wood picking up the offense it game 1. The Braves would have won the series in 4.
  8. As DJ would say. "Here's a reminder" to all of you Sox fans that are having trouble finding Fish gear go to Grandstand on 35th by the ballpark. They usually have everything you need. For any Marlin fan coming hear for the games it is on 35th street south of the city a few blocks west of Us Cell field aka comiskey park. I know this sounds like a bad plug but I've been reading about knowbody finding Marlin stuff anywhere in Chicagoland.. Lofton goes back he looks up you can put it on the board yessssss. A 3 run bomb by Encarnacion and the fish lead it 3-0.
  9. Yes, another Sox fan here from WSI. I HATE the Cubs and everything they stand for. I recieved a phone call last night from one of my idiot scrub fan friends asking me who won game 5 the sox or the cubs. So now I'm going to Grandstand by Comiskey Park to get my Marlin gear and when the Fighting Fish win this series, I'm gonna call not just that guy but everyone else I know that is a scrub fan and rub their nose in it. Somebody call Jack McKeon(i believe that's how you spell it) and let him know to bunt with Pierre and Castillo because the Scrub pitchers can't field their position because they think they can strike everybody out. I love the idea of going to Wrigley and supporting you guys but I would have to leave after 2 innings because I don't like frat parties. Like vivamagglio said we avoid it like the plague. GO FISH GO
