  1. The pitching staffs are closer than people are talking about. Now I am a Cub fan saying this. What scares me is that the Cub offense, even against bad pitching, can make anyone look like Cy Young. Marlins have better contact hitters which means more base runners. That included with lots of walks by Zambrano might spell a loss for the Cubs. But I am rooting for the Cubs with all my heart. Should be a great series. Please excuse all my earlier post, was being an obnoxious. Go Cubs, good luck.
  2. Agreed, I am a Cubs fan and this is favorably for the Cubs, but he annoys me. I like the comment how you have to face wood and Prior in the cold? Um ya Prior the 2nd game, Wood will pitch in south Florida and Game 7 if it goes that far.
  3. Ahhh, Thanks for the support. I have just discovered the site and notice all the CUBS SUCK logo's and corkey comments and DIE CUBS signatures. So thought it deserved a little reaction. If you dont like my posts then dont read them. Thanks.
  4. Hrm, what is stupid and dumb about stating my opinion on the pitching?
  5. Josh Beckett has been scary lately and Zambrano has been a bit wild and letting lots of guys reach base. Zambrano has been great at home in his last few starts. Beckett pitched a good game in SF and got the loss. Marlins haven't faced Prior this year, and probably hope they hadn't faced Wood. Redmond owned the Cubs in PPS back in July (I think, maybe June). Willis got shelled in PPS by the Cubs. But realizing all that, These are different teams, Mentally especially. Both came into the playoffs having been in a play enviornment for the last month of the season. I am looking forward to a good series and good luck to Fish fans. But, Go Cubs. :thumbup
  6. Marlins02, sorry for the delayed response. I normally post on the Cubs, espn message board. I found this site yesterday in someones signature over there and clicked over. I post as jwright1016 on Espn if you wanted to check me out
  7. LCastillo, No I dont have tickets, I live up in Jacksonville about a 5 hr drive to the stadium. Not sure if I am gonna make the drive. Damn family coming in from out of town, sigh.......
  8. NO NO NO. Dont tell them to go to Wrigley, because they will probably just run on the field and attack you 1st base coach. Jeez. You have no idea what you are asking. White Sox fans are just criminal thugs.
  9. Heh, nice logo. Looking forward to a good series. Not gonna trash talk Both have good pitching staff's. I dont put too much on the earlier games in the year. These are 2 different teams now. Just looking forward to a great series. No one expected too much out of either team this year. Honestly, I think both teams will be better next year if we can both hold our pitching staffs together and healthy of course. Good luck.
  10. Woot, Cub fan living in Florida. Anyone got tickets to sell?
