yea its been gettin bashed pretty hard in terms of the mulitplayer which seems to be just an updated version of the original counterstrike. sucks for the? ppl who shelled out close to 200 bucks to upgrade thier pc and 50 bucks for the game to get tired of it after finishing a rather short single player game. oh well flopariffic. 619168[/snapback] First off the single player is longer than Halo 2. Second HL2 will have hundreds of mods for it so people won't get tired of it. And thirdly if the game is getting bashed so hard why does it have a better average rating at gameranking than Halo 2? 619661[/snapback] i dont consider about 15 hours long.also the gamerankings score for half life 2 will slowly go down as it has received about half of the total reviews halo 2 has gotten.they also have ridiculous scores from pc only sites that over scored it where halo 2 does not get reviewed on those sites.the multiplayer is a let down and counterstrike itself was a mod so a "mod" wont help this multiplayer portion of the game. i admit it must be a good game but nowhere near the best game or overall package of halo 2. even Ghost Recon 2's multiplayer component is better than half life 2's.

Personally, I like Ghost Recon 2 more. 617320[/snapback] i picked up Ghost Recon 2 as well yesterday and i like it alot. still hasnt topped halo 2 IMO but its quite close.
