  1. This was in another link but let's try this, e-mailing the FO to express our serious desire to bring Pudge back. Enough feedback may be enough to convince the Marlins the commitment is worth it. David Samson's e-mail: d.samson@flamarlins.com supposedly he answers all e-mails. What the hell else is there to do at this point other than all serious fans to express their happiness with the offseason so far and say that the one thing missing is Pudge. Don't know if it will work, but it's worth a try. d.samson@flamarlins.com
  2. I've met Samson before, he seems very smug but if he listens and really replies, I commend him. I think if we had a "sign Pudge" petition it might make some headway, but really I don't think there's much we can do on the matter. I've got my season tix already
  3. Plus the guys on PTI all said that Pudge would be back because the only teams other than the Marlins (O's and Cubs) have other options/priorities. O's want Javy and the Cubs have Miller and they seem more interested in getting another pitcher and a second baseman.
  4. Winfield was also a huge reason that the hall changed its policy. The Padres paid him a bonus and bought him a car.
  5. Why would we want to do that? We have to cut spring training a week short just to make the trip...then we have to deal with jet-lag after that. I don't really feel like spotting the rest of the league the 2 weeks it would mess our schedule up :thumbdown
  6. No, I'm not sure it was 560, but the ESPN board said a sports radio in Florida reported this. I assumed if it were true 560 would be all over it... :confused
  7. Something like 600 new seats sold, but that was over a month ago that I heard this. With Lowell and Luis coming back they have to be doing well...
  8. I heard on the ESPN board that sports radio down in Florida is saying that Pudge made a verbal commitment to come back? Is that true? I'm up in NY so I can't listen to 560 right now :confused If it's true, that's fantastic news...
  9. Best news so far this offseason, now on to Pudge...
