I just thought of something.....where the hell are we going to put it? I mean, our 1997 one is in the left corner of the Teal Monster, but there isn't space for another one. Will we just move the old one to a spot where the new one and future ones could possibly go?

A) move the 97 banner up and put 03 below it

B) incorparate the 2 banners as part of the wall in that open area between the teal monster and the pole

i have a great idea. how about the marlins get a new stadium, and they can put BOTH banners somewhere in straight away center field. they can even have a section for all their achievements.

I have been thinkning about this for a while, even though its a video game in MVP 2004 they have both inbetween the scoreboards where the Miccosukie(sp) stuff is. The 2003 is more towards left field and then its the scoreboard and then the 97 one.

i hope that they can move both of them to a new place, i think a world series banner should be in a more prestigous place than hidden in a corner.

On the other hand, there nothing like the sound of a Marlin HR banging off that sign.

i think since loria went all out on the rings the 2003 banners will look a lot different than banners in the past. he will probably do something no one has ever down before. maybe the sign will be a LCD board. i don't know. do you think loria will come up with something new. remember loria is an art dealer he knows what he likes thats why i'm not concerned the banner or even the future stadium will look ugly.

I think that they flag type banner is goign in center field along with the retired #5, the 1997 flag and the us/state flags.

 

The Ring of Fame could be covered for baseball by a removable ring for the Marlins.
