I agree that while dealing Lowell at possibly an all-time high in terms of his value might have made some sense, it would've been suicide in terms of PR.

 

I don't have a problem with any of the deals except the Redman trade and the failure to bring in another arm for the pen. I was already assuming Lee & Pudge were gone. The acquisition of Conine made Enc expendable. I gave the front office an A-.
