its only because he was my #1 pick in the draft. Thats why I didn't take Beckett.

HA!!! Take that CUBS!!!

LET'S GO ASTROS!!!

WOOOO I hate the Cubs!!!!!

So he won't be at his peak form until near June. Cubbies can kiss the NL crown good bye.

And likely any hope at the wild card.*

* Question: Why do some feel the NL Central runner-up is going to win the wild card this year? The NL Central top two aren't much better than the third team in the NL East and won't pick up the wins we and the rest of the NL East did against their bottom dwellers. Obviously it's easier to win against the Brewers, Pirates and Reds than the Expos and Mets but that was true last year as well and the NL East's third place team nearly had as good as record as the NL Central-winning Cubs. And if the NL East is so strong that it will supposedly beat up on eachother, why hasn't that stopped the Yankees from getting 100-win seasons or the BoSox wild card berths?

ill tell ya why ... because the cubs have the best rotation in baseball and the stros have four #1 starters.

and both teams have a great offense.

and both teams have a great offense. Where was that offense for the Stros last year when it mattered. The Cubs don't have a good, proven leadoff hitter anymore and thats going to hurt them in a major league way.

Funny that last year the Cubs were favorites and had to steal some Pirates to win by 1 game.
