You trade away a great defensive shortstop (um, Cabrera has a couple of Gold Gloves) who oft struggles at the plate and a young OF "prospect" whose stock has never been higher but remains unproven and would be on our bench anyways. I don't really want to trade anyone now, but if this oppurtunity comes up I think you have to take it.

I don't really want to trade anyone now, but if this oppurtunity comes up I think you have to take it. I dont think many people wouldnt do that deal. No room for Nunez and Cabrera is superior to A-Gon and we get the lefty specialist we need.
April 2, 200422 yr Yes, yes, yes! Nunez's stock hasn't been this high since everyone thought he was 4 years younger than he actually is. And there's a chance to package him and our weakest offensive player for one of the best middle infielders in the game? Do it! Do it! Do it!
