OK here is Marlins TV coverage works

Recommended Posts

If you live outside Florida...you must get Extra Innings or MLB.tv to see the games.

If you live in Florida...

1)...and Have cable? Find Fox Sports Net Florida (95 games) and if you get any of the Marlins Television Network Affiliates (PAX 35, PAX 67, UPN 8, CST, etc)

Listing of Marlins TV Network http://home.earthlink.net/~rgarcia1025/id5.html

2)... and Have DirecTV? You can get Fox Sports Net Florida on channel 634. You can also get PAX 35 on channel 35(new)/991(old) in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale locals package or PAX 67 on channel 67(new)/908(old) in the Palm Beach locals package.

3)...and Have Dish Network? You can get Fox Sports Net Florida on channel 423. You can also get PAX 35 on channel 8843 in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale locals package or PAX 67 on channel 8871 in the Palm Beach locals package.

cape i get the miami locals package and i have WPXM-35 as channel 35 as well as 8843

id assume that the palm beach package has PAX-67 on channel 67 also

p.s. i did get the game today on 35 (on dish network) but on the guide it said "paid programming". i dont know if theyll fix that or if itll be that way all year

Well, technically Marlins Baseball on PAX 35 is paid programming. FSN buys time on PAX and produces the games, sells the ads, and reaps the profits.

cape, MLB Baseball and paid programming are 2 different things, so dont get technical

besides, on cable it says MLB Baseball and not paid programming

besides, on cable it says MLB Baseball and not paid programming I know, but the guy who filled out PAX 35's tv guide entry probably wrote in Paid programming on that entry without realizing it was the Marlins game.
