My Pole is biased to the Left just a little bit.

i too believe the marlins deserve the no. 1 spot, but these power rankings are aweful. id like to see whoever made them put his money where his mouth is and wager his life savings on his 3rd ranked tigers.

Before you bash the writer of these power rankings, notice that there are no numbers where it says LW. This is basically telling you that these power rankings are based ONLY on performance thus far. The Tigers have done well to start the season, you can't ignore that. It isn't like he made a preseason power ranking list, that had the Tigers at 28 and moved them all the way up to 3. This is his first rankings, and therefore he is not limited by Last Week's rankings. Starting with the next rankings you'll see less fluctuation. But make no mistake, the Tigers are up in the Top 5 if you consider only the performance of the team to the point of this article being written.
