April 18, 200422 yr It's not like we're on some kind of massive losing streak where nothing is clicking, we've lost 2 games in a row...big whoop hell, I'd take 7 straight wins and than 2 straight losses any day. The Pitching has been superior thus far except for Fridays performance from Oliver, Josh didnt bring his "A" game today but he still pitched well... Cabrera, Lowell and Choi are all doing very well.....mostly everyone else with the exception of a few are managing. Remember... the entire lineup is not going to be on fire every single day...so chill out things are going well some of my views on things so far Pitching Wins you ballgames and our pitching is one of the best in the business and they've shown us why so far this year Castillo is flashing some sick speed that we didnt see at all last year Our Bullpen is hands down incredible so far, Benitez 6-6 in save conversions, Bump has shown me alot, Fox has done well recently, Perisho has been doing his job, most definately. Pierre will catch fire soon, watch...You dont have to worry about guys like him, everyone knows that, nuff said. Sea Bass is in a slump...what else is new? nothing. He has his funks that he gets into. he's not going to be your Mike Lowell or Miguel Cabrera, thats why he's not hitting cleanup. you should know better than to expect to much of him offensively, he'll manage and make up for it with his D... we're not going to have the entire lineup on fire throughout the course of the season...thats not realistic nor is it going to happen, if you expect everyone to be hitting, evertime you'll have ulcers by the time we get to the All-Star Break. I've never heard so much complaining and whining from fans who's team has the best record in the Majors so far... relax, we have 151 games left, dont kill yourself over a 2 game losing streak

April 18, 200422 yr Guys, even championship teams go on a bit of a mini losing streak from time to time. We won 7 in a row and it could very well happen again. Beckett had a bad night? So did Kerry Wood and he's considered one of the best in the game right? He'll rebound. Nunez.......next subject Don't worry about this team guys. They will get it going again either today or when they go into Philly so just be positive :thumbup
