May 26, 200323 yr For the second time in his career.... Gary seems to be putting together a triple crown type year. Can he do it this time for the first time in ages in the NL? question. If not Gary, then whom?
May 26, 200323 yr Sheff is in a tie for 1st(Andruw Jones and PW) with 8 other players within 6 rbi Sheff is down 5HR from Adam Dunn with 8 others tied or ahead of him and I just dont see Sheff winning a batting title I think Albert Pujols will be the next triple crown.... if not him..... May 26, 200323 yr Author Sheff has already won a batting title once. In 1992 here are his numbers... .330 1st 33 hr 3rd 100 rbi 5th Gary was 2 hr and 9 rbi short of the triple crown.
May 26, 200323 yr Author the average fluctuates from year to year..... right now gary is hitting .358 gary can do it....not sure if he ever will. to answer my own question... If not Gary then Albert Pujols or Lance Berkman.
