May 9, 200422 yr Author Bush Senior was the last "boring" president. My beef with dwight is the birth of a true military industrial complex and growth of military and other bureaucracies.

May 11, 200422 yr Author Mutually Assured Destruction (all the nukes) is one thing, but Eisenhower's support for non-necessary social programs is another. I admit though, it is hard to analyze which is the better route: let communism bring itself down and just worrty about yourself or what we did. I would like to think the route of not blowing people up for no reason is more moral...but that is awfully idealistic as well.
