Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

3 cheers for Cordero.......he earned a dozen free doughnuts for all 41,000 fans with his 7th inning hit. Glad to see him do something to make the fans cheer!

 

We stopped by the Krispy Kreme in Boynton Beach after the game to get our 4 dozen doughnuts......was it ever mobbed!

 

The whole place was full of Marlins fans. It took us over an hour to get through the line. I heard the lines at the Krispy Kremes further south were quite a bit worse. Any stories? We were all chanting "We want doughnuts"...it was alot of fun.

That's a pretty crazy promotion but then again, getting 12 hits isn't exactly a breeze.

You have 24 hours to get your doughnuts. That is why they were mobbed.

 

Might be easier on their staff if they gave the fans more time to collect. It didn't seem as if they were quite prepared for the onslaught of fans after the game....but they handled it pretty well.

After being stranded at 11 three nights in a row it is nice to finally have the donuts (even though I don't eat them anyways). When Cordero's shot went up the middle you could have sworn the Marlins had just won the pennant by the roar that went up in the building. It was kind of sad that a big chunk of the crowd left and only about 60% was left to wtch Big Poppa mow them down again for the ninth time, but a win is a win and it's always nicer with dem donuts.

Ine hour? That nothing. The Krispy Kreme on 163rd was packed!!! I mean the traffic was HORRIBLE!!! The people were lined out over the sidewalk, crazycrazy crazy. I didnt get myu doughnutes, they'll probably be there to like 1 or more. Ill go tomorroe morning.

You know it didn't occur to me why so many fans were filing out after the Braves 8th inning....I guess they were all hungry....lol.

 

We hung around for about 15 minutes after the game...and then it took another 15 to get our photoballs.....so by the time we got to Krispy Kreme, it was packed.

 

All in all, a great night. We won, got photoballs, plus the doughnuts. And the crowd was great.

The promotion will really probably be an overall gain for Krispy Kreme Corp. not an overall loss. It really doesn't cost them very much to give out all those donuts.

Krispy Kreme makes some good donuts. Can't beat the Fudge Iced Creme filled. Lucky for me, that coffee shop I work in sells these bad boys and I get to eat them!! :hat

im guessing that one in north miami is by FIU north. every time i pass by there in the morning you can smell the damn doughnuts. gets me all hungry. they smell so good

I also waited until the end of the game and then got my photoball, so when we got there it was packed. When we drove up we yelled free donuts and the whole line started going nuts. Overall it was pretty fun we even had the wave going at one point through the line.
