orisha
When Oliver was sent home from 2nd on castillo's weak single and got thrown out at home i thought it was a bonehead play. i mean you got cabrera, your best hitter, in the undeck circle. there were 2 outs, why take the bat away from the hands of your best hitter? the first time when redmon was thrown out it was ok, but it was stupid to send oliver home. i'm not saying it cost us the game or anything, it was just a stupid play wether you are down by 20 or winning by 20. Hotcorner
I think it was Conine who was gunned down the first time... that was a close play at least, but I agree with Cabs coming up it's silly to send the pitcher. Burnitz was the player of the game, hands down.

djm305
It's always easier to second guess, I trust his judgement is better than mine, it was close enough, if he makes it then no one is complaining. When your on the field it's a quick decision he doesn't have time to sit there and think about it and he doesn't have replays to look at before he sends the guy. It took a perfect throw to nail him. I am not saying it was smart to send him, but I am also not gonna say it was stupid to send him. Now stupid was Cabrera's decision to steal third with no outs in the first. Even if he makes it I still think it was stupid.
g8trz2003
We can blame the loss on that. We only scored 10 runs. How do you expect to win a game when you ONLY score 10 runs! :banghead . Pitching lost the game. And it is alright to lose a game every now and then.
