Win Sunday vs. the Pads.

That would mark an improvement over last season.

last year, at this point we were what 5 games out of the wildcard? We are leading our division. Shut up, pennants aren't won in May.

I love how everyone here keeps saying "WE'LL GET 'EM TOMORROW!"

 

Well today is tomorrow and guess what... WE LOST! But wait a second, WE'LL GET 'EM TOMORROW, right?

The Marlins havent been playing well lately...They have lost 6 out of their last 8 games. But the other teams in our divison havent been playing well lately either...we still have a pretty good lead. But we need to take advantage of the other teams in our division doing bad...we need to start playing like we did at the very beg. of the season...

 

But we are still in good shape...we just have to start winning.

This is the time to be building the lead on the division. 2 out of 5 games at home is a joke.

AGREED. And we rely on doing good by playing good at home. We are suppose to be a great home team. I think that if the other teams in our division will start playing better than we will also so we can keep the lead. But we need to take advantage of the other teams playing bad. We need to build on our lead. We need to take care of our problems and start playing like we did before.

this was a bad loss, no way around it. and a couple of those road losses were really bad losses too. extra inning losses at home just plain suck. better to lose a game that way in may then in september (for momentum reasons), but a loss is a loss.

Beckett just needs to step up and be the stopper that this team needs. I like our chances with Penny pitching game one in Houston too. This losing skid has to end and we need to string together a winning streak...starting tomorrow!

it's not that they are losing momentum per say, it's just some bumps in the road. Things like this happen. Baseball is a marathon, not a sprint. We must pace ourselves and not get so dissapointed and over analyze every single detail when we lose.

maybe if Jack rips the team they might wake up

 

or maybe its time the FO shows us they are alive and pulls the trigger on a deal to shake this up
