Conine

Featured Replies

After hitting a slump earlier in the year, he showed up and broke through his slump against the Rockies going 9 for 14 with a few ribbies. Then after a bit of some decent play he hits another slump and comes out of it against the D-Backs as he hits 2 HRs in as many days and has just been seeing the ball very well. Hopefully he can keep this up and continue to show nice defensive plays like the slide today, and also to continue to wack them balls out of the park. You think this will put the Nunez talk away (for at least a few days)? ;)

I wan`t suprised wh n Nunez got on base, given it was an errpr, but still. Conines the bomb, or at least he is today.

He hit the ball very hard right up the middle and Choate got his glove on it just enough to knock the ball down. If Choate misses the ball it is a two RBI single.

Niner always starts the season out slow and after a month or two always comes out of it and heats up.

Conine is hitting .230 for the month of May....so it's hard to say that he is breaking out of his slump yet. He's been seeing the ball well for two games.....so let's hope he keeps it up.

Not to overreact but those are also the two games after his cortisone shot. Maybe that shoulder was just too much for him to deal with before. The Conine today was not the Conine for the first month of the season, Colorado included, he looked very good today.

Niner has had very solid AB's. He has walked a couple of times and hit 2 homeruns in two games. He also made a great catch today In Left Field. Lets see if Mckeon starts him regularly but Nunez and Harris are also making a case.

You serious? Nunez and Harris? Harris maybe but what has Nunez done? He got a garbage single today and when we REALLY needed him yesterday, he struck out.
