Marlins 30 - 20

excellent...We should be able to keep this pace as long as our pitchers stay consistent. so far, they've had ups and downs, hope they stay this way!!! Hope Beckett comes back soon, and AJ's return should definitely give us a boost!

Starters going deeper into games have taken the pressure off the bullpen.......we are getting timely hits again....everything is starting to click...feels like last September.

Go Marlins!!

Beckett going down wont set us back as much as expected. I think the Marlins will find a quality starter to step in. Beckett has been very mediocre anyway pretty much this whole season - which sucks for my fantasy team. :banghead

Beckett needs the time off. I think he is going to be a player who gets somekind of injury every season. But he should come back refreshed and refocused - especially with AJ in there.

On pace for 97 wins and all this with two regulars in the lineup hitting below .150.

If we were getting ANY sort of production above the Mendoza line from Castro and Gonzalez, this team would be flirting with dominance.

is asking for a .235 BA from those two guys too much??????

Two regulars?

Gonzalez is well on his way to .260.

are you even following this team??? Gonzalez's AVG is upto .220 and has been hiting the ball much better the last couple of weeks.

I'm liking what I'm seeing. I hope that the Marlins will be on TV up here in VA sometime.
