What the hell was that?

Dontrelle just got Pena looking on a 72 MPH curveball. He has never thrown a breaking ball of that velocity; is this his new third pitch or what? Man did it look sick for the situation he was in. :thumbup

Told you that Willis is fine. This kid has the stuff to be an ace in this league. Those of you clammering to send him to the pen - SHAME ON YOU! NO SOUP FOR YOU! :lol

Agreed.

How many 22-year-olds can say they have twenty career wins, left-handed no less.

I think Dontrelle is starting to use his curveball as much as his slider now.

Because he threw the slider alot, and today Kasper said it was a curveball.

I was never a member of the "Send D-Train to the Bullpen" Contingent but.....

He is going to need to use his curveball more often, because plain and simple he is going to need this pitch if he plans to have long term success at the MLB level.

Good to see he is developing a new pitch though, his consistent heater and slider combined with a curveball and that deceptive motion is going to give hitters fits.

I said before that his stuff is so good that he could get away with throwing a mediocre third pitch while he worked to perfect it.

What happened to that changeup he was working on this offseason? The way he shields the ball and uses every bit of his body to throw from 50 feet changing speeds would give batters fits.
