June 2, 200422 yr REMAIN CALM!!! (I havent' been on today to see if anybody is losing it or not, so I'm just sending out this message to the site in general, not singling anybody out.) This series proved 2 things that just about everybody around here already knew: 1. The Marlins are going to have problems in close games until they trade for bullpen help. 2. The Reds are just on fire and not a team you want to play right now. Look, the Marlins head to Shea to play the Mets, who they just got done sweeping last weekend. AJ is back and pitching tomorrow. The Fish are still in first place, so please everyone remain calm. Did this series hurt you all? Of course it did, but you just have to try and forget about it and move on because moping over the series will just make things worse....
June 2, 200422 yr It's already forgotten. I'm on to bigger and, uhh... faster things. Like A.J, Burnett's fastball. One that you will appreciate as much as anyone, Craig.

I have said ALL SEASON LONG that this is a marathon, not a sprint. I had to be the voice of reason last year and it looks like I might have to be again.
June 2, 200422 yr Author One that you will appreciate as much as anyone, Craig. I'll be watching tomorrow. I hope his stuff is as electric as it was pre-injury, because his stuff was as good as I've ever seen before the surgery.
June 2, 200422 yr Man, after the last few games, having AJ come back and get the win would be extra sweet. Those Mets aint got a prayer!!
