Manning calls Vanderjagt an idiot

Featured Replies

ok. fine. under any circumstances Manning could barely, but could swing the Hall of Fame. its my opinion. you can disagree all you want, but u won't change my mind.

if Peyton is Hall bound now, so is Eddie George, Curtis Martin and Corey Dillon

Of course you will not change your mind, you are way to young to have seen enough of the game to think that Manning is anything but one of the greatest to play. Peyton may never have been able to play in his dad's day. Quaterbacks are so protected these days it is sickening. God forbid a defensive guy should touch them unless it is a sack.

Guys such as Starr LED their teams while getting the snot knocked out of them. Pile driven into the ground, head slapped, head butted, and rarely if ever was a flag thrown. They had to do their job knowing they might be unconscious after the play. Peyton just has to worry about a sack as the worst thing that could happen to him these days.

In 15 or 20 years after you have had the chance to see a generation or two of QBs make their way through the league, you will finally understand this discussion.
