And it's obvious in hindsight we did the wrong thing, now it appears the terrorist are as strong as ever and the reasons we went to war were completely false (either on purpose or just intelligence failure), no?

I'm not linking it, but they have the images up at a certain radio talk show host's website I frequent and it's now burned in my head. This site also had the video of the other beheading which I was dumb enough to watch a while back. He should have at least kept it off off his home page. I just started to get the video images out of my head before tonight.

It has been clearly established that the Taliban and Al Qaeda had a working relationship, as the Taliban government allowed Al Qaeda to build terrorist training camps in that country.

 

However, it has also been fully established now that there is NO link between Saddam and Al Qaeda, despite what the Bush Administration would like the American people to believe. The 9/11 Commission confirmed it, and now the government has retracted its statements on the subject. Every justification for the War in Iraq has been debunked. End of story.

 

I'm sorry to see what happened to this guy today, but these terrorists are ruthless. Anyone who thought they had any good in them whatsoever has been proved wrong. However, not much could have been done. The good news is that it looks like the leader of the Al Qaeda cell in Saudi Arabia was killed also.

The latest poll of Iraqis showed that 97 percent see us as occupiers. Over 60 percent also believe that the country will be safer after the U.S. leaves. That's not what I wanted to see.

Anyway, I used to be pretty anti-Saudi royal family (SRF), but I've gotten a little better. Mind you, the gov't in Saudi Arabia is pretty f***ed up as it is now, but if any of these little coups that people are trying to stage actually worked, the new gov't would be MUCH worse. So at least the SRF is cooperating. However, I do believe that they used to play both sides of the game (kiss up to Arabs and Americans), but now, they're pretty much on the US side since they're under the spotlight. That said, they're not taking too many preventative measures, and the SRF is so corrupt and terrible, anyways.

 

Fighting the war on terror is dumb because you'll never win it, get rid of it all, or stop new people from joining. the change has to be made with foreign policy, mainly the US support for Israel and now the Iraq war.

Well didja ever think that the soldiers forced the prisoners into the sodomizing acts for a REASON?
