June 26, 200422 yr 3B Brad McCann is hitting .636 early on for Jamestown Jammers in the NewYork Penn League. SS Brian Cleveland is a kid I was told to keep an eye on and hasn't disappointed so far hitting .333. Also Joe Pietro is hitting well, this CF from the New Orleans is hitting .308 Good to see RHP Allen Baxter back pitching for the Jamestown after tommy john. The kid has a live arm...keep an eye on him. As for that pathetic team in Greensboro j/k Mr.Andino our future SS and Southridge grad. Appears to have finally grown up. This kid glove could be as good as Alex and his bat appears to be catching up. Keep it up kid :thumbup The sleeper on this team is 3B Pablo Sosa...Yes another 3B , very good bat. That's for now...maybe someone might want to add something.
June 26, 200422 yr McCann has less than 20 AB's. I think he's a very good pick but this post can be deceiving. I'm not sold on Andino being that this is his 2nd year here in Greensboro but maybe he's just a late bloomer.
June 26, 200422 yr Yeah McCann has been on fire, and his Clemson teammate Patrick Hogan is Jamestown's closer and hasn't given up a run yet. Pablo Sosa has really been swinging the bat well as of late. Jonathan Fulton already has 3 homers but his batting average is only around .200.
June 27, 200422 yr Author McCann has less than 20 AB's.? I think he's a very good pick but this post can be deceiving.? I'm not sold on Andino being that this is his 2nd year here in Greensboro but maybe he's just a late bloomer. I think he's starting to bloom nc marlin, SS Robert Andino was 3-for-4 with 2 RBIs for the victorious Bats yesterday. Andino has now hit in 22 straight games, going 37-for-95 (.390) to raise his average from .225 to .282.
