June 28, 200422 yr I dont think Tejera pitched all that badly....he had 4 walks (i think...this is going on memory) but all were in the 1st 2 innings. All 4 runs were given up with 2 outs in the 2nd. Other than that, he pitched fine...I say at least give him another chance...he didn't pitch poor enough to be run out of town. I was disappointed Jack pulled Tejera out when he did. At that point, one more inning would have indicated a lot. But, Jack's mind was made up after the early inning walks. Maybe his mind was made up before Tejera arrived. And I didn't agree with Jack pulling Manzy when he did. And I will be surprised if Tejera even gets the next start. Maybe Jack needs to learn Manzy's head-thumping, nut-cracking routine to get him out of his senior biases.
