Exactly.

40% of the time Choi gets on base. If either JP or Luis are on ahead of him, they move into scoring position....giving Mikey and Cabs the opportunity to knock them in.

Against lefties, I suggest the following:

JP

Liuy

Niner

Mikey

Cabs

Choi

Gonzo

Catcher

Niner is hitting .320 against lefties with a .452 OBP.

I like your thinking PB :thumbup

I like the Niner idea in 3rd against lefties as well. Keeps the pressure of Cabs, so he can return to his lefty bashing self of last season, and puts two nice 3 hitters in the lineup no matter what arm the pitcher throws with.

Now if they start kicking the ball over we might need a new 3 hitter.....

I like the idea of swapping Niner and Choi for lefties and ighties.

Although I'd rather move the middle of the order up to 2-3-4-5 and drop one of our leadoff men (JP ideally) down to create havoc for Red and Alex.
