We've got a declining player, no longer as dominant as he once was, and we're trading away two young rising stars. I hate it. And I think this franchise seriously undervalues Caron Butler.

July 11, 200421 yr its not for 2 years. 3 year extension is involved in this. and you guys are making odom out to look like the best player in the east. you people are really overstating his value by alot.
July 11, 200421 yr Shaq will continue to decline over the next 5 years, and we're not going to be able sign anyone else. So, I hope Dorrel Wright really pans out when we're paying Shaq 30 million at age 37. I guess what I'm saying is Shaq may be worth it for the next 2 years, but after that I'm not sure we're going to want to be paying him 30 mil a year. And I don't think I overvalue Odom. I wasn't that high on what I saw of him in the playoffs. Really good player, but can't carry a team.
