July 29, 200422 yr Marlins starter Brad Penny worked five-plus innings, giving up two runs on five hits with four strikeouts and a walk. The right-hander threw 95 pitches, and he was removed in the sixth after giving up successive singles, because of a heat-related illness. It's not considered serious. http://florida.marlins.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/...recap&fext=.jsp
July 29, 200422 yr He needs to work out with Juan Pierre. 480945 And you honestly think he would last a day?
July 29, 200422 yr If Penny loses weight, just imagine the Pandora's Box it'll open. Imagine all the new users adopting versions of "Pennysbabii". That's enough for me to hope he stays pudgy.
July 29, 200422 yr Well, Penny is a big boy....And i hope he stays with us for a long time. I hope the FO can sign the starting staff for 5+ years.
July 29, 200422 yr At the stadium they were saying he was having trouble breathing due to the weather, FYI
July 29, 200422 yr At the stadium they were saying he was having trouble breathing due to the weather, FYI 480957 You're right, Len and Tommy were saying he was having trouble breathing due to the dense humid air right after the rain. Going 5 innings and throwing 95 pitches after having to sit out for long periods of time during a rain delay is MORE than acceptable.
July 29, 200422 yr Thought so, I figured it was Penny they were talking about, I went inside (and thats when they said it, during rain delay if I remember) jeesh...two rain delays, that game was long =|
