August 2, 200422 yr Author have you heard of a guy called RANDY JOHNSON??? He definitely deserves a spot on this list! 489702 maybe he's obviously a great pitcher, but he started his career too late he doesn't have enough wins, i'd think he'd easily be first in K's if he'd started earlier it's definitely debatable tho, no doubt he was on top of my mind when i thought of it. actually, what gave me the idea was a poll on sportsnation that asked who was the most dominant picther of this era the choices: Clemens, Maddux, Pedro, Randy clemens and maddux were a close one-two, then there was pedro, and i was shocked to see that randy only got 8% of the vote he's better than pedro for sure, IMO
August 2, 200422 yr 1. Walter Johnson 2. Christy Mathewson 3 through 10: Clemens, Alexander, Young, Spahn, Grove, Koufax, Pedro Edit: I can't believe I forgot Tom Seaver or Steve Carlton. Definite top 12, for all.
August 2, 200422 yr 1. Walter Johnson 2. Christy Mathewson 3 through 10: Clemens, Alexander, Young, Spahn, Grove, Koufax, Pedro 489760 #1 is obviously Johnson or Mathewson, and I agree that 3 through 10 could be any of those guys, but you could add Carl Hubbell, Bob Feller, Randy Johnson, Greg Maddux, and Nolan Ryan onto the list. You can put those 13 guys in any order
