September 1, 200421 yr In his first 2 starts LH starter Jason Vargas has gone 15IP while striking out 14 batters. He allowed only 3H, 2BB, and 0HR to register a 0.60ERA. Hopefully a sign of good things to come.

September 2, 200421 yr And the next pitch after he threw it over the guys head the guy still laid down a bunt and Vargas made a nice play in the field and threw him out and then stared him down as he returned to the dugout. Now thats Bad Ass.
September 2, 200421 yr I was wrong he didn't pitch tonight. Another stud lefty did pitch tonight for Jupiter though. Scott Olsen went 7 scoreless innings giving up only 3 hits and no walks while striking out 10. His ERA is not at 2.97.
