June 25, 200323 yr We may take 2 of three in Boston. They aren't very good in Inter-League historicaly, plus how WELL we've always done. We also play a much different brand of ball than they do. The Atlanta series is going to be quite interesting. Pending who pitches for either team, I would say that can be considered a toss-up. Either team could easily take 2 of 3. Remember though, that team relies on the longball. We give that up less than any other team in baseball. And let's not forget that series is at home in good ole Pro Player. The Philly series is in Philly, so it might be hard. If we are pitching well and have some good momentum mentaly going into that series, we could take 2 of 3 But it could be just as easy to lose 2 of 3. The Cub series looks a lot to me like the Philly series. It's in Chi town, so it might be hard. But with solid pitching, I can see us taking 2 of 3 or even sweeping more likely than not. Then there's the Montreal series. That's going to be a the biggest question. It's going tp really be a battle of pitching. BUT, if we can manage to hit better, we can win the series. I can see that happining. BUT, you can't overlook that line-up, even Vlad-less... Overall, I see us going 9-6 over a stretch against Boston, Atlanta, Philly, Chicago, and Montreal. Not to mention sweeping the Mets. My predicted record at the All-Star break: 50-45
June 25, 200323 yr I believe that this year we have a better record at the vet vs. the pillies than at home.

June 25, 200323 yr Author I said Boston isn't very good. I DID say we are good... Read it again. oh my b hehe
June 25, 200323 yr Ramp, i think he meant passing some teams might be a reality... Not winning the division...
June 25, 200323 yr exactly wildcard. it may be possible to knock down the braves as well, maybe putting the division back in play, but we can pass the phillies very soon.
June 25, 200323 yr mlb.com says 12 out...so, we have 13 left. we have to nock them out if we want to be in the wildcard. we must win no matter who. it's just a coincidence that with the unbalanced schedule we will play 13 more vs. atlanta.
June 25, 200323 yr im not closing the thread dude, chill out... this is not a reality right now....not at all... that's what im saying
June 25, 200323 yr There is no doubt in my mind we can pass the Phillies SOON. I think we can also pass the Expos by the AS break if they drop a few. We are right back in this thing. For all those idiots who said, "You're only winning because you just played last placce teams." We did play last place teams, but that ain't why. We have won 20 of 30. That's a . 667 Winning %. If we can use the momentum to our advantage, we CAN beat these good teams!!!
June 25, 200323 yr expos losing 6-5 with 1 out in bottom of ninth there is a mini thread on that game in the major league baseball section
