September 15, 200421 yr The cubs haven't been scoring runs lately. I really don't think the are going to make the postseason on current form, esp playing away from home soon. The Giants are really surprising me, but they will have harder games to play. If we keep on winning like we are, I don't see too may problems. The Wildcard could just open up for us if we stick at it.

September 15, 200421 yr Author I agree Rferry - but I have been monitoring this in private. I dont feel the Braves are that good of a team to just run away with the division from here on. We have to win our way in which means something is going to give for the Braves. I also think that the Braves, as good as they have played, are way over their heads. They have totally outplayed themselves. It is going to get interesting. But we have to keep focused on the WC for now. As for the other Wild Card contenders, I think the next couple of weeks we will see a shake down. As I say that, it is now 6-1 Astros over Cards in the 4th with 2 outs.

September 15, 200421 yr Author Mets won (7-0 over Braves). Phils lost (6-7 to Cin). SF beat Mil (3-2). And right now, it is 7-5 Hou, but Cards have been making a come back with 2 outs and a man on second. Could be good...
September 15, 200421 yr Author Taguchi...that guy is complete garbage. I am surprised he was up there swinging - I thought LaRussa was a better manager than that. Oh, Astros pulled it off 7-5 over Cards. So, not a whole lot of difference inthe WC standings.
