September 18, 200421 yr Duke lost to VA Tech. This probably deserves its own thread, but whatever. Also, the splattering of AOL graphics on the field during CBS' broadcast this afternoon is atrocious. Going way too far.
September 18, 200421 yr Oh, yeah, I almost forgot... Chad Johnson promised the debut of his new endzone dance (supposedly to sweep the nation like the Ickey Shuffle), which he stopped himself from doing last week (saving it for the home fans; thanks Chad). And I will be there! Chad: :notworthy Me: :hat woot-woot
September 18, 200421 yr Hoosiers in a shootout in Kentucky 17-17 Wildcats with 10:11 left in the 2nd quarter Hoosiers RB BJ Green Ellis has 101 rush yards already
September 19, 200421 yr WV just barely Maryland in OT 19-16 563593 great game. i watched most of it. ugly first half though.
September 19, 200421 yr Northern Illinois blows it in the 4th quarter big time and loses 48-41 at Iowa State..... I would be mad, but last year proved that our out of conference schedule means nothing, so next week is when it really starts to matter, as we host rival Bowling Green in the conference opener Friday night on ESPN2.
September 19, 200421 yr I was at the UNC-Georgia Tech game down at Beautiful Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill and the Tar Heels won 34-13. I had a great time. That's the first time I've ever seen the UNC football team win in person and I've been to about 6 or 7 games before this.

These guys are out of control, Chad & Keyshawn (I feel bad for their family, they're cousins :banghead ), "TO" (he's the worst, I hope he breaks his neck or gets killed, he's just so fukkin annoying), Joe "Tootin his own" Horn, Onterrio Smith (SOD= Steal of the Draft), Robert "Photo Op" Ferguson Spare Me.

No Fun League lover is in THA' HOUSE. Who the hell are you to pass judgement on someone's family for football? I like how you're the God of all things "putting down Chad." Let the guys celebrate. Besides, I'm pretty sure Chad's thing is a dance, he already had a big thing with the fans where they were to email him ideas. It's so hilarious to see someone who loves the Lambeau leap act like a big hypocrite and say, "Celebrate THIS way, not THIS way." Poopy pants.
September 19, 200421 yr Notre Dame won at Michigan State 31-24 Oklahoma beats Oregon 31-7 Georgia nips Marshall 13-3 Miami won by like a hundred Florida State wins easily over UAB Wisconsin nips Arizona 9-7 Iowa down 17-0 against Arizona State right now in a shocker.... #25 Clemson loses soundly at Texas A & M Virginia smokes Akron
September 19, 200421 yr Oh, and Maurice Drew had...get ready...... 26 carries, 322 yards, and 5 TD's!!! And even more incredibly, his UCLA Bruins BARELY survived to win at Washington 37-31
September 19, 200421 yr This should become its own thread but Tennesse beats Florida by 2 points on a game winning 50 yd field goal coming off of the foot of the same kid who missed a PAT earlier. I am not a Florida supporter but they didnt deserve to have that personal foul called against them in the end, it should have been called on both team. That one penalty cost them the game because it stopped the clock and gave the Vols great field position.

Poopy pants. 564070 Phlub, do you even think before you spew your hypocratic rhetoric toward the general populace of posters here? The reason why you're so opposed to endzone celebrations is that your (dookie) Packers arent creative enough to do anything other than jumping in the crowd. Unless Donald Driver goes out to the parking lot and steals a car. :thumbup You. Jealous.Period.

That was just stupidity on the part of the Florida player.
September 19, 200421 yr Batman, I don't love the Lambeau leap. I would prefer they do away with the Lambeau leap myself. Don't just assume all Packers fans like the Lambeau leap. No fun league? No way man, I just don't like excessive celebrations. The 5 yd. WR/CB contact rule sucks, they should let the DB's knock the WR's heads off, and roughing the passer/kicker is also a terrible penalty. Like I said, how is it hypocritical of me to not like the Lambeau leap and not like other players celebrating either? For the last time Batman, and if you'll listen this time.... I DON'T LIKE THE LAMBEAU LEAP. Give the ball to the ref like Barry Sanders and Ahman Green do and have some friggin class. This is a game, not a dancing contest (Chad), or an improv comedy show (TO, Horn), or a rock concert with a mosh pit (Packers Players jumping into the stands), it's football. And Lombardi, Halas, Lambeau, Landry, and Paul Brown the founding fathers of football are probably turning over in their graves. I'm against all post TD celebrations and stupid "first down" celebrations. But the No Fun League? If thats no fun league, then its no fun league. To me the No Fun League is where the NFL trys to protect WR, QB, and Kickers from getting hit, because they want to see points on the board, I think everybody (referring to WR/CB 5 yd. contact rule) has a fair shot at the ball when its in the air. Thats my version of the no fun league. But man batman, you gotta get this idea out of your head that I like the Lambeau Leap, because I don't.
September 19, 200421 yr Darius Walker and Ryan Grant are going to have so much fun against that Washington Rush "Defense" next week in South Bend..... Oh, and Minnesota is up 24-10 at Colorado State in the 3rd quarter on ESPN2 right now folks, Minnesota has a wonderful team that could win the Big 10 so that game is suggested viewing.
