July 1, 200322 yr Well, I know this is probably a repititive thread, but I wasnt able to be on the board for the game, and I just wanted to hear comments on the game. Obviously it went well. I had to run for football crap during the first part of it, so I listened on the radio, and then I went frog gigging out on Lake Washington when it was 8-1...so I didnt miss anything.

July 1, 200322 yr Author I saw the Pudge homer just before I started running. Actually I saw the Pierre hit, steal, Castillo's bunt single, and then the homer. I heard DLee's homer on the radio. Ive watched the highlights. I have a sorta bad feeling about tomorrow...but at the same time, really feel like we can win...with how our offense is performing.
July 1, 200322 yr The way I see it, every game the fish beat the braves is like gaining a game on everyone else in the division, since chances are they'll lose when they play the Braves.
July 1, 200322 yr Author interesting fillet. I love beating the braves. Over on the ESPN.com board, Cutter came over before the series saying that we were gonna get destroyed. Unfortunately I got a 24 hr ban (i responded to 4 trade ideas from other teams' fans with "I'm not a GM" 4 times in under a minute). So, I gotta wait a few hrs before I make fun of that....umm stupid person.

July 1, 200322 yr I have to say i thought this was an important game for the Fish (no no not Mr. Filet O' Fish) after being manhandled by the Red Sox, facing the perrenial division champs who are what 51 and 29, this was really important game. D*mn that Pudgie is ON FIRE !!! The whole team looked sharp. Perhaps that blowout in Boston was a watershed moment for this franschise. They came out tonight determined to mke their mark - and they did. Congrats team, you did great !

I've been to two games this year at the TED and NO ONe was there..... It looked like a Marlins home game. Wait a year or two until the Braves start falling off, the TED will be full of crickets and tumbleweeds.
July 1, 200322 yr Author yah he's a compulsive gambler. All he does is talk about his roto league (about the closest he gets to giving credit to the Marlins is when he says something like "good thing I got Dontrelle Willis on my roto team"). He's a tool. But, conflict gets interesting, so I like makin fun of him on the board. At the same time, he's annoying, and that is one reason why I like this board. Hardly any fans from other teams.
