October 14, 200421 yr I loved most of those games. Punch Out was awesome although Mike Tyson was freakin impossible to beat. Gotta love Contra with the Code. Tecmo Super Bowl and the 100 yard bombs and making your fingers bleed on Track and Field.

Here's some of my quick hit memories - Up down up down left right left right A B A B select Start....how can we forget that? - Did anyone else not get past the triple jump in Mario I??? - Was the Raiders the greatest team ever in Tecmo Bowl? - How funny were the players running out of the hospital in Super Tecmo Bowl - Extra Credit to whoever can name the halftime show in the super bowl of Super Tecmo Bowl - John Elway's QB, UP and Down???? - Double Dribble featured those hot spots from like half court and was the easiest game ever to steal from your opponent. - Nice to see the blue boston team and the green Los angeles franchise in Double Dribble - How great was it to jump off the trackpad and jump back on during the long jump? - Who else used to put their gun up against the Television during Duck Hunt?? - Did anyone else have Space Invaders? - How fun was it cleaning the nintendo and blowing in the game hole 590824[/snapback] Damn you for inducing nostalgia. I'd say Final Fantasy was my favorite NES game, with honorable mention going to Zelda II, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series (that Pizza Hut coupon that came with one of em was GOLD), and of course the Super Mario Bros series--especially Super Mario II. Oh yeah, Rampage also kicked so much ass.

October 15, 200421 yr I had to go with super tecmo. It was a tough choice, but Mike Tyson's Punchout and RBI rate a close second.

Maniac Mansion = greatest game of all time. holy cow. this game was fun for hours upon hours. it had like 4 different endings, though i only got 2 of them. its hard to beat the game with the lamer characters. but still, wow. i still play it to this day. its funny how they have references to Star Wars and Indiana Jones in there too. id ususally go with Bernard (the geek) cause he can fix anything in the house, and Michael (the black kid) cause he could develop the film, which is what you need to win the game. im tempted to go play it right now. hahaha.
