November 1, 200421 yr I'm old and have been through this a few times. Stay active, and do things with friends. Don't dwell on the bad things about the relationship, instead look at the lessons you have learned from this one that you can carry into future relations. Don't try to get involved with someone else until you are truely over the first person, otherwise it is not fair to the 2nd person, and may actually impede your recovery. I have to say that looking back, I am THRILLED that none of those relationships lasted past their time! The one I am currently in is SO much better than any of those were, although at the time I was dumped, I was devistated. Hang in there.
