November 2, 200422 yr If you mainly went to the polls today to support the ideas spawned by 3rd parties, make your voice heard on local representatives, propositions and bonds then this is the place for you! Step right up and let it be known that you have little confidence in either of the major party candidates and chose instead to focus on your backyard.
November 2, 200422 yr Kerry wasn't my favorite candidate, but I was suckered into voting for him. 3 votes for Nader was worth it!
November 2, 200422 yr I would have voted Badnarik if I didn't live in such a close state. 606773 according to willie brown, badnarik is actually siphoning off votes from bush...for the past couple of weeks I was wondering how he got the funds to put so many ads (relatively) on TV here in FL.

I don't think so though, because he isn't very known. Though in the few early polls that actually mentioned his name, he did score around 3% according to the main page article of electoral-vote.com a few days ago (I think the 28th).
November 2, 200422 yr The Irony of Bush possibly winning The Popular Vote, losing The Electoral vote and losing because he lost Florida by the margin of his third party enemy.
November 2, 200422 yr Author I would normally fall into that category ... a fiscal conservative/small government type who has grown disgruntled with the policies of the current republican administration, but aren't in line with the religious/social mandates of parties like the Constitution Party Right now there are 3 things I'd like to see out of this election .. McCain re-elected, Prop 400 to pass and Prop 200 to fail ...
November 3, 200422 yr I voted for Badnarik here in South Carolina along with the Libertarian candidate for Senate...
November 3, 200422 yr Author Badnarik pulled just under 10k here in AZ and there was some strong libertarian support for local races, although no winners McCain swept through the state again which makes me happy Prop 200 passes which I dislike, but 400 passed which I am for A mixed night .. I wish the presidential would just go to bed ... but 3rd parties didn't show as strong as in years past, but still showed some good things
November 3, 200422 yr Thats sucks that Prop 200 passed, now many of the immigrants there will be terrified to go to the hospital.
November 3, 200422 yr I might have been swayed to vote Libertarian if I wasn't in Florida. 607563 likewise
November 3, 200422 yr Author it's not really that because most benefits are federally mandated, therefore this has little effect on those what it will do is create a lot of red tape and extra work for people in the healthcare industry ... emergency rooms are going to be even more of a mess, election lines even longer and more confusion this will correct little and cost more than it saves ... i can fully understand peoples frusteration out here I definitely don't want to provide benefits to people who don't pay taxes and aren't a member of this nation ... however, this accomplishes little blech
