So yeah, Northern Illinois, ranked in the top 25, has a chance to beat their long time daddies Toledo for the first time since 1989, win the MAC West, and go to a bowl game for the first time since 1983.

 

We are the only undefeated team left in the MAC, we are at home on a weeknight, and all the cards are right for us to win. And yeah, Toledo kicks the living s*** out of us.

 

Now we need to beat Eastern Michigan (which we will) and have Bowling Green beat Toledo (possible) to win the MAC West. The point is, yet again a team of mine has a chance to do big things, and yet again they fail and kick me in the nuts.

 

And you people wonder why i'm so pessimistic......
