The foul wasn't overly hard or anything like that, but you never see someone foul (especially a guy with a reputation like Ron Artest) another player like that in that point of the game. It just doesn't happen. It's like stealing a base with a 9-0 lead in the 8th inning, but in that no one gets hurt :confused

November 21, 200421 yr In Steve Kerr's column he says that this foul made by Artest was in retaliation for a hard Ben Wallace foul a minute earlier. I just flipped on the game by a fluke right when Wallace pushed Artest, so I guess if it's retaliation it makes things different.
