Who should the fins draft with their high pick?

Featured Replies

Alex Barron (Florida State) - Really when your 6th string running back is so fast and athletic that they're in defensive backfield in the blink of an eye, have you really been tested? :p All-American. Great size. No significant immediate impact.

Jammal Brown (Oklahoma) - The best NFL-ready OL out there. Not the one with the best size or most talent though.

Elton Brown (Virginia) - Not a typo. There are two Elton Browns at Virginia. One plays basketball, the other football, and they're roommates! Big guy, solid run-blocker and a ver smart player (you can count the number of holding calls on him with one hand).

C.J. Brooks (Maryland) - Preseason All-American likely to drop a round or two because of the lackluster play from QB and the other linemen.

Michael Munoz (Tennessee) - Son of Anthony Munoz. Intangibles sure, talent and size no. Avoid.

There are no such thing as good centers right out of college. Like a catcher or MLB you need lots of experience with your teammates and coaches. You can pick up a center in the 6th round and turn him into solid starter in 3 years.

Rodgers may have average mobility, but he has an amazing release. Maybe the quickest I've ever seen. He holds that ball right up by his head, and then BAM! It's gone. He's gonna be a hard man to get to in time.

He also seems to have good pocket awareness, for what it's worth.

we will have 2 first rounders once we dump ricky on the raiders(and yes al davis will trade for ricky) we can then draft a OL with our first, first rounder and a DL with the 2nd one, then sign edge or alexander and sign drew brees. done.

im i say we might have the 1st , 2nd or 3rd pick in the draft what i say we should do is trade for two first round picks and get two really solid o line men. take brees away from the chargers and pick up edge from the indy and cut madison in the off season and start will poole. and than next yera comes we go 12-4 and become a conteder thats wha im talking about.

than again thats just dolphin fan meantley

eric winston was top 3 before he got injured

trade down, get more picks, and draft him

Another overrated UM lineman in the 1st round? No thanks.

Trade down and use the 1st or 2nd pick (depending if the 49ers suck more than us) to get two OTs. Trade Ricky Williams and get Ronnie Brown from Auburn with that pick.

How is Winston overrated? The guy is an absolute beast. Ask anyone who'd they rather have? And Mckinnie isn't so overrated is he and he came right out of Art Kehoe's system. And Winston is reported better than Mckinnie was at college. :mischief
